ok so this might be kinda obvious but i have a theory that every BA girl, even the more mundane looking ones, has at least one specific anomalous property besides "above human strength and endurance and durability". - Kirino bends bullets midair to shoot things she's not aiming at - Juri has some sort of chaos alchemy when she cooks though im still working out the details - Kasumi is able to manifest hotsprings even in locations that they shouldn't be able to exist - Megu is practically immune to heat and fire - Akari has... ok it might be a few things going on at the same time? she might be bigger on the inside? but then she does say that she fills up easily from water... point is there's some tomfoolery going on with her and she's not just a big eater she's a literally impossibly big eater. - Miyu has a wallflower effect strong enough that automatic doors don't open for her, and i suspect she also has an ability which is something like "she feels where she is, her rifle is, the bullet in the rifle, and where the target is, and she puts the bullet at the target. where was the bullet in between being fired and arriving at the target? ha, what a silly and strange and completely irrelevant question, mr. laws of physics! moving on..." but thats just my theory - Tsurugi's regeneration rate is probably visible in real time... - Asuna has all sorts of shenanigans going on. - Hifumi physically manifested her desire for and belief in a good ending and broke the storm upon her will. She literally banished the clouds and Arius Squad commented on it. Holy hell I love Hifumi she is best girl. - Neru I believe has sliprun. Idk how to describe "sliprun" other than "the speed the legs are moving doesn't match the speed of the running surface, but acceleration and movement are achieved anyways because it's not the legs and feet themselves in contact with the surface that produces the force, but rather the concept of them running which does so" cuz there's no other way for her to run down the side of a skyscraper for anything more than a second tops, she'd push herself away from the wall with how much force is involved with moving her legs at those speeds. Not to mention, anything remotely resembling dodging would be entirely impossible otherwise, which is not something you want when in a gunfight with a mech. those are just the ones i can think of off the top of my head theres more but im eepy

Octodad AU, Again

It's literally been forever since I've posted anything for my AU, even though I've had so many things added or changed for the AU. So let's go over the basics again to get me posting again!

Sorry in advance if these points seem all over the place lol

First change in the AU are the original characters Lucifer Nortorus and Asuna Tsurugi

Lucifer Nortorus replaces Caline Bustier as the Miraculous Class' homeroom teacher (she still teaches at the school)

Lucifer uses the octopus miraculous after the first Stoneheart attack (hence the name of the AU)

Asuna Tsurugi is the older daughter of Tomoe, and older sister of Kagami

Kagami is also a more important character

She early on becomes Ryuko, but without using a miraculous and helps by using her combat skills

Adrigaminette baby!

With Kagami and Ryuko, the love square is turned into a love hexagon!

Kagami having a crush on Marinette and Chat Noir

Marinette has a crush on Adrien and Ryuko

Adrien has a crush on Ladybug and Kagami

While that love mess is going on, Lucifer and Asuna are already together and have been for 15 years

Aurore is upgraded to being an important character as Kagami's best friend

Aurore also knows from the start that Kagami is doing the vigilante thing

There are other villains besides Hawkmoth in Paris that the other heroes face, even if he is the most dangerous

A few of the miraculous have their powers changed so that some aren't blatantly more useful in fighting akuma or stops them from being straight up too powerful (looking at you rabbit and peacock miraculous)

More miraculous lore is present here, with the current set of heroes not even being the first time in recent history Paris had a miraculous wielding hero

Said hero was Soleil Raion, a Lion hero that took down a villain 15 years ago and hasn't been seen since

The fact that Paris is already used to heroes helps with the current team being accepted. Especially with Ladybug's Miraculous Cure

Kagami catches Fu's attention her vigilante work, which encourages him to give her a miraculous... Just not the dragon

Kagami is given the bee miraculous as a way to try and compensate for her aggressive fighting style as the bee doesn't have Venom

The bee miraculous now is a more set for a support role with Honey, which heals and reinvigorate the target, with weakened effects if used on the user

Kagadrinette shenanigans

Like the last Kagadrinette post I did, some of these may include characters, or people with the Miraculous they have in my Octodad AU. But besides those ones, these are just general shipping moments, enjoy!

Chat Noir: Right!?! She did such a good job last time!

Ladybug: but-

Mitsubachi: agreed. Not to mention how cute she looked.

Ladybug: what!?!

Chat Noir: not going to argue with you there. Is it just a cat thing, or did you want to play with her hair buns?

Mitsubachi: ...maybe...

Ladybug: *blushing as she tries not to combust*

Adrien: *spit takes his drink*

Marinette: *not noticing Adrien* what do you mean?

Kagami: *holds up her phone with Snake Noir on the screen* why does he look like an egghead?

Marinette: *giggles* he does, doesn't he? It's almost cute, when you consider he probably thinks he's the coolest cat around.

Kagami: oh most definitely, I was just seeing if you saw the egg too.

Adrien: *face in hand as his face glows with a blush*

Sabine: so, you have a boyfriend, and a girlfriend?

Marinette: yeah, you're okay with that, right?

Tom: of course sweetie!

Sabine: we're just making sure we know who we have to tease.

Marinette: ... What?

Tom: did you really think we weren't going to tease who ever you got together with?

Marinette: Papa! Don't!

Sabine: I'm sorry Marinette, but we have to do this. Tom's already prepared the cake.

Marinette: what cake!?!

Tom: the wedding cake, obviously.

Marinette: PAPA!!!

Lucifer: deal with what?

Marinette: dating rich people???

Lucifer: oh, are Adrien and Kagami flooding you with presents?

Marinette: yes! Like, I'm grateful, but-

Lucifer: you're running out of space?

Marinette: yes! They both have me giant plushes of a bee and cat! Like, I love them, but they're also bigger than me!

Lucifer: pray.

Marinette: what?

Lucifer: pray that they tone it down eventually.

Marinette: really? That's your advice?

Lucifer: look, gift giving is just how rich kids show affection. I don't know about you, but I never had the heart to get Asuna to stop. She only toned it down when we dated for a few months.

Asuna: *bursts into the room* Lucy!

Lucifer: what is it-?

Asuna: I saw this and thought of you! *Holds up a giant stuffed animal* it's an octopus!

Marinette: ... Oh my Kwami... They're never going to stop...

Lucifer: sorry... I thought I would try to give you hope.

Asuna: *walks up to Lucifer* what are they arguing about?

Lucifer: *looks like he has a headache* fighting over who would be the middle spoon.

Asuna: you're kidding... Right?

Lucifer: I wish I was.

Adrigaminette August 2020 Day 1: Confession

"I hate love."

Asuna looked Lucifer, who had his face down on their table.

"That's not exactly what someone wants to hear their boyfriend say." Asuna walked up to Lucifer from behind as she said this.

Lucifer turned his head to look at Asuna while half his face was still on the table. "If you had to live with the knowledge I do, you would be saying the same thing."

"Would I?" Asuna walked around Lucifer and the corner of the table to sit in the chair next to him.

"Yes, you would." Lucifer raised himself up to sit upright to look Asuna in the eye.

"Alright, try me."

"What?"

"Lay the knowledge on me." Asuna leaned back in her chair as she put an arm around the back of it. "Tell me why love, apparently, sucks."

Lucifer groaned. "So, earlier Ladybug was asking for advice..."

"Romantic?"

"Yeah, and when I asked if it was about Adrien, she said yes, and no."

Asuna frowned at that. "Yes and no?"

"Yup, turns out she was also asking for Mitsubachi."

Asuna raised an eyebrow. "Shortstack has a crush on Mitsubachi?"

"Yeah, which is normal. She's a teenager, you know? People have multiple crushes all the time."

"I'm failing to see the problem."

"Please think about who Mitsubachi and Adrien have crushes on."

Asuna sat there for a moment, before her eyes widened in horror. "No..."

Lucifer threw his arms up. "Yup! Between Adrien's crushes on Ladybug and Kagami-"

"-and Kagami's crushes on Chat Noir and Marinette..." Asuna continued.

"They, somehow, got themselves into a love hexagon! With only three people!"

Lucifer banged his head on the table, as Asuna looked like she starting to realize why Lucifer said what he did earlier.

"How did they manage that?" Asuna asked. "I heard love makes you stupid... But come on. This is ridiculous."

Lucifer, still face down on the table. "I know... And I have to work with them."

Asuna reached over to pat him on the shoulder. "Do they know about the crushes the others have at least?"

Lucifer's head shot up. "No!" Then he banged his head back down. "The only one that knows anything else is Kagami!"

Asuna sighed. "Well, at least-"

"She doesn't know about any of the crushes on her."

"What?"

"She just knows that Marinette has a crush on Adrien, and the Chat Noir has one on Ladybug."

Asuna pursed her lips. "Are any of them planning on confessing, or..?"

"No..." Lucifer lifted his head so his chin was resting on the table. "Marinette and Adrien think Kagami and Mitsubachi don't like them enough as friends yet-"

"The Tsurugi curse?"

Lucifer looked to Asuna. "It's not a curse, you guys just aren't ‘people persons’." Lucifer then went back to looking at the wall. "Anyway, and Kagami won't make a move until she see a clear opening... Which she doesn't notice because she's focused on the wrong identities!" Lucifer then put his face back on the table.

Asuna reached over to pat Lucifer on the shoulder. "There there..."

The continued to sit there for a few moments, both thinking about the convoluted Love Hexagon the kids managed to get themselves into.

Octogod: Chapter 13

I haven't updated this in a while, huh?

Asuna opened the door to see the door to the room that Adrien was laying in was still closed, and Charm was laying in front of it, with his head up watching the door.

Asuna walked up to Charm, and patted him on the head. "Good boy. Is he asleep?"

The glowing points on Charm's eyes moved so that they were pointed at Asuna. Once Charm was looking at her, he gave a growl.

"Still a sleep, huh?" Asuna brought a hand up to her chin, as she started to think.

"What are you thinking?" Marinette asked as she up behind Asuna.

"Trying to figure out what your next move is."

"My next move? Isn't that just... You know, going to Olympus?"

Asuna looked to Marinette with a raised eyebrow. "What about Lila?"

Marinette frowned. "What about her? If I'm the goddess of life, wouldn't that be enough to prove her wrong?"

"Maybe if she wasn't a god."

Marinette tensed at that. "What?"

Asuna brought her hand back up and started to pace. "The other gods are naive, but not stupid. They would have noticed if she was a mortal, and since Lucifer hasn't said anything about them being suspicious of her, that at least means she's got a presence."

Marinette started to bite her thumb in thought. "I didn't think about that." Her from deepened. "Is it possible" she raised her head to look at Asuna. "That she's got a glamour? Like how Adrien did at first?"

Asuna snapped her fingers then pointed at her with a grin. "Bingo! Which is why you need training."

Marinette clenched both her fist and got a determined look in her eyes. "So that I can get past any tricks of hers, right?"

"Right again! Which is why I need Adrien to wake up."

Marinette tilted her head in confusion. "Why is that?"

Asuna crossed her arms. "Because I have to head back, since I'm never away for long. So I need him to protect you till you get to who I know can help you."

"And who's that?"

Asuna rested a fist on her hip as she cocked it. "My little sister, Kagami."

Adrigaminette August 2020 Day 3: Ice Cream

"So, Mitsubachi?"

Marinette nearly choked on her scoop of honey ice cream when Asuna said that.

"What?" Marinette asked as she looked back up at Asuna across from her.

Asuna took another scoop of her blue cotton candy, then spoke with the ice cream pushed to one cheek. "I've seen your ‘Adrien wall’, and couldn't help but notice a few pictures of Mitsubachi in there."

Marinette blushed red then looked back down at her ice cream, which was a scoop of mint chocolate swirl, and a scoop of honey.

"Y-yeah. She was... I don't know..."

"Heroic?" Asuna used her spoon to gesture to the side. "I saw Stripes punch a flying car out of the way of Ladybug."

Marinette knew about that, it was the moment she had her "bi awakening".

Watching someone use super levels of strength to protect you does something to you. Especially when they're as pretty as Mitsubachi.

Marinette nodded. "Yeah, heroic... And strong..."

Asuna raised an eyebrow at Marinette. "Didn't realize you were into that short stack."

Marinette blushed a little brighter, then whispered. "It's hard not to be into that..."

Asuna shrugged her shoulders. "I never got it," Asuna then grinned. "But Lucy used to tell me all the time how attractive it is."

Marinette chuckled. "I bet. I've seen you do similar things... And that's without a miraculous!"

"Yup, but you know..." Asuna said. "Kagami is in the same boat. Do you... Have any feelings for her?"

Marinette frowned at Asuna. "Kagami? No, she and I are just best friends." Marinette looked up in thought, with her spoon up to her lower lip. "Though she is attractive."

Marinette went back to eating her ice cream, so she didn't notice Asuna's eye twitch, or hear the exasperated "you oblivious idiot" whisper she released.

Chat Noir: Princess! Here let me- *falls as he rushes over to help Marinette, mrowing like a cat as he lands on his face*

Kagami: I want those two.

Asuna: what?

Marinette: Kagami sometimes calls me "Mari-hime" as a nickname, but when I tried "Kaga-hime" back at her, she turned really red, then ran away.

Asuna: *trying to hold back her laughter* oh, it's just an honorific, so you're fine. In fact, how about you go try to do it again, she's right there.

Marinette: are you sure?

Asuna: *getting out her phone to record everything* definitely.

Kagami: *tucking a lock of Marinette's hair behind her ear as she stares at her face* some people are just blind when it comes to these types of things.

Marinette: I guess... Thanks for letting me vent to you Kagami, you're such a great friend. The best even!

Kagami: *stares into the camera like on the office*

Mollusk internally: *knows exactly why Chat Noir was staring* end my suffering, and let these three dumb kids get together already!

Ladybug internally: *too focused on Chat Noir to see Mollusk's exasperated face* does Chat Noir also like Mitsubachi?

Adrigaminette August 2020 Day 5: Fencing

Kagami grunted as she was thrown to the ground, yet again, by Asuna.

"Spread your focus, Kagami." Tomoe yelled out from her seat next to the mat.

Kagami scowled up at Asuna, who's face didn't hold any emotions as she took off her mask.

"Those aren't fencing forms! If you used those in an official fight-!"

"But we aren't in an official fight, are we?" Asuna asked as she put out a hand to help Kagami up.

Kagami ignored the hand as she got up. "No, but you're supposed to be helping me to fight in official matches."

Tomoe sat in silence for a moment, before getting up, and walking over to the other two. "Asuna, please give us a moment."

Asuna frowned at Tomoe. "Don't you want-"

"Your help is no longer needed for the day."

Asuna pursed her lips, but walked away as she started to undo the braids in her hair.

Once Asuna was gone, Tomoe began to speak again. "You should be more thankful of your sister's help. She doesn't enjoy fencing, so it should mean a lot to you that she does for you."

"Doesn't change that the way she fights doesn't help."

"It would help you more than you think. Both in fencing, and your life."

Kagami frowned at her mother. "In my life?"

Tomoe nodded. "You are always do focused on the obvious threat, that you fail to see anything else that could cause your defeat."

"Like what?"

"Like your pursuits of Marinette and Chat Noir."

Kagami blushed. "You-!"

"Of course I know who has caught your attention. Between how highly you speak of Marinette, and the clear favoritism you have for Chat Noir also speaks volumes."

Kagami looked down, blush still on her face. "Right..."

"Now, as I was saying, you are so focused on Marinette's crush on Adrien, and Chat Noir's on Ladybug, that you've missed another clear threat in your goals."

Kagami frowned then looked up. "What threat?"

Tomoe raised an eyebrow. "Where do Ladybug's and Adrien's affection lie."

"What?"

"Who has their attention? Does anyone have their attention? These are questions you should have the answer to. Because it could be the difference in having them be simply an obstacle, an ally, or rival."

Kagami started to mull over her words, as Tomoe left the room.

"Wait..."

Tomoe stopped, then slightly turned her head in Kagami's direction.

"What do you mean by ‘ally’?"

Tomoe smirked. "Well, I do believe that some relationships are made up of more than two people. For all you know, your ‘rivals’, could actually be the missing piece in getting what you want."

Kagami's blush brighten. "Mother!"

Tomoe back to the door and continued out. "I do hope that's the case, because I wasn't sure if I would prefer a daughter-in-law, or son-in-law."

"Mother!!!"
